Tubing

The best tubing trips on the Shenandoah

Tubing family

Depending on water levels, one trip is from Bealer’s Ferry to Foster’s and offers great scenery as you bounce over lots of riffles and ripples. When the water is lower, we move to a deeper water section from Seakford to Burner’s Bottom . This section goes thru Compton’s rapid.

Both are fantastic tubing floats—for friends, family and fun!

Tubes, canoes, kayaks and tandem kayaks are for those 5 years old up. Rafts are for those 3 years old up.

Tubing season starts around mid-May and goes into mid-Sept. For  Fall Tubing, plan to come for the 10:30 and 11:30 trips due to the cooler mornings.

Due to low water, we are might not be doing the 11:30 trips every day.  Check the front page of the website for updated info. as the river goes up and down.
