MULTI-DAY TRIPS

Ever want to say goodbye to society for a few days? Well, at Shenandoah River Outfitters, we built our foundation by fully outfitting 2-3 day river adventures. We’d guide customers downriver during the day, then stop at backcountry campsites in the evening. We would then prepare meals cooked riverside, using ingredients both store-bought and foraged from the forest.

Nowadays, we no longer do full outfitting. However, when it comes to multi-day canoe and camp excursions, we are the keepers of the flame! You bring your favorite camping gear, cooler, victuals, and get ready to cook on the campfire. We provide shuttles, and thorough expert knowledge developed through more than half a century of personal experiences.

Two Day TRIPS

Overnight trips are offered to those who enjoy pitching a tent under the stars in a riverside clearing where the Native Americans lived. Really get away from it all and return to the days when time stood still.There are a few options for places to camp for the night, depending on how you’d prefer to break the trip up. This information will be discussed at check in, as well as scheduling a pick up time at the end. PLEASE CALL before booking to get more information about the trip and current river levels.

Three to five Day TRIPS

These longer trips are great for AT hikers looking to aqua blaze for a few days! There are a few options for places to camp, depending on how you’d prefer to break the trip up. This information will be discussed at check in, as well as scheduling a pick up time at the end. PLEASE CALL before booking to get more information about the trip and current river levels. You must rent a minimum of 2 canoes, or 4 kayaks to do these trips.
