Sylvia’s review:“Our family (parents, two children – ages 5, 8, and dog) had a great stay at the Drifter cabin. We loved our walks to the river (so calming and scenic) and the view of the snow/ice covered mountains from the window. We were able to get a little cell service down by the river so we could download extra books to read (we have AT&T). Our girls loved the hot tub and the loft area. Awesome long weekend to unplug and have family time. Would definitely stay again.” 

Courtney’s review: “The cabin was clean and well maintained. It offers a gorgeous view of the Shenandoah River and surrounding mountains. I only wish we had booked for a slightly longer duration but will most definitely reserve again now that we know.”

Kristina’s review: “I decided last minute to take my boys on a little getaway. We decided on this property. The cabin is beautiful and the area is so quiet. I didn’t mind taking the gravel drive to the property. It made it that more secluded and special. The hot tub was everything to my youngest after a day of hiking. I would definitely go back! Alexandra’s review: “The Cabin was beautiful. We had an amazing time. The place was extremely clean and the hot tub was very clean. Cabin was super easy to find, just use Apple Maps, waze stops you about 8 miles short of the location. I have sprint as my cell phone provider and I had perfect service all weekend. There were no ovenmitts, that we could find, so if you plan on cooking bring your own (we just used a towel). I would definitely come back!

Leslee’s review: “The cabin was Great! We had everything we needed. The short walk to the River was amazing. The view of the rushing water was SPECTACULAR. We had a party of 5. Youngest was 4. I was concerned about the loft. It is safe for children. We will go again! We snow tubed at Bryce Mountain. It was an extremely fun weekend getaway! The views are Breathtaking and our cabin was warm and cozy. Very clean and well organized with necessities.”

Emily’s review: “We absolutely loved our stay!!! The cabin’s location was just beautiful, not to mention the drive through the mountains along the river was just phenomenal!! We enjoyed our short stay and loved visiting the Luray Caverns and the Luray Zoo and Rescue as well! Definitely recommend these cabins to anyone who is looking for a nice getaway!! Our favorite part was that there was no WiFi and the cell service was poor, so we were able to shut off from the world for a few days and really just enjoy the views and each other!!”

Scott’s review: “Cabin is brand new and the hot tub was very nice. The location is very remote. You will need to drive down miles and miles of dirt roads to get there. The location on computer navigation software is five miles short of the actual location so factor that in. Absolutely no cell signal or internet at the location but they do have dish network. Come prepared to soak in the hot tub under the stars and enjoy the nice river frontage. Highly recommend as a place to disconnect and unwind.”

Lucretia’s review: “I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at the Hook cabin. We lucked out with gorgeous weather and did some beautiful hikes. We loved the cabin and the location. We have referred a few people and hope they take advantage of such a beautiful place. Are the cabins dog friendly?”-yes, 9 of the 10 are pet friendly at $15/pet/night.
