The Angler, Drifter and Paddler cabins sit on 7 1/2 acres of river front acreage. Each cabin sleeps 6--the back bedroom with the queen bed has a propane fireplace, the double bed is in a loft and a double bed futon in the living area. The cabins have AC and heat. These cabins are 17 miles from Luray, out in the country--great to see the Stars!

You can walk to the river or drive. The wooded area is great for picnicing, fishing and relaxing--even plan a bonfire by the river. The Drifter and Paddler hot tubs have this view from the cabin's deck. The Angler's hot tub is in a gazebo.

All of our cabins are on the Road on the West side of the Shenandoah river that follows the river. The Angler, Drifter and Paddler are 17 miles from Luray.

Here's a view of the mini-kitchen (which has the dishes, pots, etc for 6; a coffee maker, microwave, 2-burner stove top and refrigerator but no oven) and the entrance to the bedroom with propane stove. The shower bathroom is to the right of the kitchen. The stairs are to the loft area.
The living area has the futon and dining table and Direct TV. Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill for each cabin.

At Shenandoah River Outfitters, you can rent canoes, kayaks, rafts and intertubes to enjoy on the river. You can go on a river trip (from one boat landing to another) or just hang out on the River by the cabin. Visit other pages on this site for more information.

These cabins are located about 17 miles from Luray VA and about 7 miles from Shenandoah River Outfitters. The setting is one of woods, fields, mountain views and on the banks of the Shenandoah River for great fly fishing, bass fishing and just playing in the river. Just up the gravel road is access to George Washington National Forest for hiking, bird watching and animal watching and hunting in season. Back in Luray (17 miles) are grocery stores, antique shops, Luray Caverns and places to dine. Shenandoah National Park entrance is another 5 miles with all of it's hiking trails and amenities. Horseback riding can be found in Fort Valley(16 miles), and Shenandoah National Park(30 miles). The Luray area offers golfing, mini-golfing, airplane rides, biking-mountain and road, and much more.
